• Full-time Bailey Glasser LLP, a national law firm engaged in cutting-edge litigation, seeks a Special Case Assistant to join its Mass Torts Practice Group in its Maryville, IL office.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years' of law firm experience, previous work in Mass Torts is a plus. Specifically, interested candidates should have client-facing experience either at a law firm and have held a previous positions such as a legal secretary or administrative assistant. The firm seeks a team player with excellent written, oral, and technical skills (i.e., computer and common software applications). The applicant should be empathetic, self-motivated, smart, warm, energetic, highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient. This is an opportunity to thrive in a growing firm with a very collegial environment. The firm works on some of the most exciting and high-profile cases in the country. This Special Case Assistant role is vitally important as it is the first impression potential new and existing clients will have with the firm. Interested candidates must be comfortable conversing with clients over the phone and be able to lend an empathetic ear, while simultaneously collecting important information about the clients' case. This position will be the primary point of contact for our cases involving claims of sexual abuse. This position will require that an individual be able to field a high volume of calls. This Special Case Assistant will also be responsible for other projects and administrative tasks critical to ensuring the Mass Tort Practice Group operates smoothly.
