Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in estate planning, probate, adult guardianship, and real estate transactions. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, proficiency in legal research and document management systems, the ability to work well with a small team/boutique setting. The Paralegal will support a solo-attorney by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. Duties Assist attorney in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing case files and evidence. Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to gather relevant information for cases. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts. Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw. Coordinate communication between clients, witnesses, and experts to facilitate case progress. Maintain accurate records of case activities and deadlines to ensure timely submissions. Provide executive administrative support as needed, including intake, answering phones, scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Qualifications 2-5 years Experience in estate planning, probate, adult guardianship, and real estate transactions- REQUIRED Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program- REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis. Familiarity with document management systems (DropBox) and practice management software (PracticePanther). Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Experience with document review processes is advantageous. Amazing customer service and client interaction.
