Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Palos Heights, IL 60463 $55,196.26 - $85,000.00 a year - Full-time $55,196.26 - $85,000.00 a year - Full-time We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join a growing law firm in Palos Heights, IL. The successful candidate will have proven knowledge in Commercial Real Estate and strong administrative skills with exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Review, resolution, and addressing issues associated with surveys, title commitments, financing documents, purchase, and sale agreements along with due diligence procedures. 2. Assist in resolving property tax-related issues. 3. Prepare and review closing documents, land, and financing documents, and c construction contracts. 4. Demonstrate an apt understanding and knowledge of zoning codes and government statutes and regulations. 5. Frequently work with attorneys to resolve a broad range of issues related to commercial real estate and projects. 6. Manage and prioritize multiple work assignments to meet strict deadlines. 7. Organize, manage, and assemble multiple documents for various projects.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. 2. A Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate is preferred, though not a requisite with proven sufficient experience. 3. Prior experience as a Commercial Real Estate closer is a plus. 4. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel. 5. Excellent multi-tasking skills along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 6. Strong organizational abilities are necessary. 7. Exceptional intercommunication skills. 8. Attention to detail and problem-solving capacity. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a keen ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
