Job Description

Sher LLP - Skokie, Illinois Sher LLP is a boutique transactional law firm seeking a dependable and detail oriented Junior Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support attorneys and a senior paralegal in real estate, corporate and commercial matters. This is an entry level to junior role with strong growth potential. Responsibilities Paralegal Support Assist with preparation and organization of transactional documents Draft correspondence and basic legal documents for attorney review Manage files, closing documents, and checklists Coordinate with clients, lenders, and third parties Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks Legal Assistant / Administrative Support Maintain and organize physical and electronic files Scan, upload and assemble documents and closing binders Assist with general office operations as needed, like ordering supplies Requirements Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Reliable and responsive Work Environment Position is fully in person in Skokie Reliable car required What We Are Looking For We are seeking someone who can work under a Senior Paralegal, takes ownership of their work, follows through on deadlines, reliably present in office, and is comfortable handling both administrative and substantive legal tasks while developing into a strong paralegal.
