Mallor Grodner Plummer LLP is seeking an experienced and motivated Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring substantive legal knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support multiple attorneys across a variety of legal matters. This is a full-time position supporting our Auto Dealer, Business Law, and Litigation practices. The scope of work will be tailored to the strengths and background of the right candidate, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic legal environment.
Responsibilities include:
Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings; Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review; Manage and coordinate calendars for multiple attorneys, including scheduling client meetings, court appearances, and deadlines; Maintain and organize client files and case management records in the firm's practice management system; Assist with court filings, including e-filing with state and federal courts; Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other parties; Track deadlines and ensure matters progress in accordance with established timelines; and Assist with other administrative and legal support tasks as needed.Skills:

Ability to manage multiple matters and attorney calendars simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, and court staff.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Drive, court e-filing systems, and practice management software.Time Management:
Efficiently manage time across competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Attention toDetail:
High degree of accuracy in drafting, filing, and maintaining legal documents and records.Knowledge:
Legal Procedures:
Working knowledge of court rules, filing requirements, and litigation or transactional processes.Legal Terminology:
Familiarity with legal concepts and terminology across practice areas.Ethical Standards:
Understanding of confidentiality requirements and ethical obligations in legal practice.Office Procedures:
Knowledge of standard legal office practices, file management, and administrative workflows.Abilities:
Adaptability:
Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, practice areas, and work assignments.Critical Thinking:
Ability to analyze issues, exercise independent judgment, and escalate appropriately.Confidentiality:
Ability to handle sensitive client and matter information with discretion.Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively within a team and support attorneys who may be working across multiple offices or remotely.Education and experience preferred:
A minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal or substantive legal experience preferred; A paralegal certificate or associate's/bachelor's degree is a plus, but not required — demonstrated skill and hands-on experience carry equal weight; and Experience in business/transactional law, civil litigation, or both.Technical Proficiencies:
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Workspace; Experience with court e-filing systems (state and/or federal); and Prior experience with ActionStep or comparable practice management software preferred.Benefits:
