We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Immigration Paralegal to join our team and help support our attorneys in delivering exceptional client service. This is an in-office position for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has extensive experience handling immigration matters from preparation through filing and case progression. Position Summary The Senior Immigration Paralegal provides advanced case support and assists attorneys with immigration matters involving USCIS, the National Visa Center (NVC), immigration court preparation, corrective filings, and case management. This role focuses heavily on case execution, troubleshooting, organization, and ensuring matters progress efficiently. This position works under attorney supervision and does not provide legal advice independently. Responsibilities Support attorneys with immigration filings, interviews, hearings, and case preparation. Prepare and coordinate NVC interview packets and supporting documentation. Manage FOIA requests and monitor returned or rejected applications. Prepare corrective, emergency, and remedial filings. Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files. Assemble exhibits, filing packets, and supporting evidence. Coordinate mailings and filing logistics. Troubleshoot case issues and communicate concerns to supervising attorneys. Maintain accurate case notes and internal documentation. Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, and staff members. Assist with additional legal support duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Minimum of 5 years of immigration law experience . Strong knowledge of USCIS and NVC processes. Excellent organizational and case management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a high-volume caseload. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Professional demeanor and commitment to client confidentiality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred 5-7 years of immigration law office experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and training. Experience with Docketwise or other immigration case management software. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Physical Requirements Primarily sedentary office work. Frequent computer, telephone, and filing activity. Ability to lift files and office materials up to 20 pounds.
