SK hynix is seeking a highly experienced Paralegal to provide critical legal and regulatory support for our new cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing facility in West Lafayette, Indiana. This role is essential in managing the foundational legal operations, compliance workflows, and documentation required for a major semiconductor investment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-stakes corporate environments, assisting counsel in navigating complex legal frameworks and ensuring seamless coordination between our Indiana operations and global offices.Responsibilities:
Assist/lead the administrative and procedural aspects of establishing the Indiana facility, including managing construction contracts, procurement documentation, and operational permits Review and organize commercial agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts under the supervision of Corporate Counsel Monitor and analyze legal, regulatory, and industry trends, including federal regulations affecting semiconductor operations, to draft comprehensive reports for management review Translate business requirements into formal legal terminology for contract drafting Support management in maintaining relationships with federal, state, and local agencies by preparing necessary filings and compliance reports Manage all day-to-day administrative duties of the legal team, from invoice and expense processing to document archiving and general operational team supportQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related fields A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department (or both) Demonstrated expertise in contract lifecycle management, legal research, and corporate filing and docketing procedures Proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to summarize complex legal matters for various stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a paralegal in a law firm and/or in-house legal department Demonstrated expertise in contract lifecycle management, legal research, and corporate filing and docketing procedures Proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to summarize complex legal matters for various stakeholdersRequirement:
