Job Description :
Stockton & Kandt, LLC is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Estate Planning Case Manager/Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate plays a critical role in supporting our attorneys and clients through the estate planning process and other related legal matters. Office hours are Monday - Thursday , 7:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m.
Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure the client estate planning process is smooth and successful.
  • Provide ongoing client support, which includes receiving all client telephone calls, portal chats, emails, and letters and ensuring response to clients in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and external parties for documentation.
  • Assist the client with the funding of their trusts.
  • Maintain and update case files.
  • Prepare reports outlining the client's property for a smooth transition to their loved ones after death.
  • Perform the signing of assigned Wills and Trusts, and ensure all necessary signatures are obtained.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling and correspondence.
Qualifications:
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • 1 year of legal assistant/paralegal experience preferred.
  • Exceptional detail orientation and accuracy in all work.
  • Concierge mentality towards clients and referral partners, ensuring personalized and attentive service.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.
