Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of legal functions across multiple practice areas, ensuring efficient case management, thorough legal research, and precise document preparation. Your expertise will help streamline legal processes, facilitate effective communication within the firm, and contribute to the successful resolution of complex legal matters. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and tribal law. Assist attorneys with drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail. Perform document review and data entry tasks to support litigation, transactional work, and regulatory compliance efforts. Support project management initiatives by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and maintaining organized workflows for multiple cases simultaneously. Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as directed by attorneys to gather pertinent information for case development. Provide administrative support including filing, phone etiquette, transcription, and maintaining professional communication with clients and external partners. Experience Previous paralegal experience in a law office or legal environment is preferred. Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw is ideal. Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines. Demonstrated ability in legal drafting, proofreading, document review. Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented by professional phone etiquette. Experience with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing systems, clerical support, and transcription enhances your effectiveness in this role.
