Job Description

A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support its busy litigation team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and can confidently manage deadlines, filings, and day-to-day case support.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, revise, and assist with court filings and related litigation documents Track deadlines, tasks, and case activity to help ensure timely filings and follow-up Support attorneys with case management, document organization, and general file maintenance Gather, review, and organize information and records received from clients Draft correspondence, pleadings, and supporting exhibits as needed Maintain accurate case records and assist with overall administrative support Handle general office support duties such as phone coverage, scheduling, and related clerical tasks
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a law firm or similar legal setting Familiarity with litigation support and court filing procedures Experience with e-filing strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF/document management tools Comfortable working in a paper-light or paperless environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate professionally with clients and internal team members Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities Experience with legal billing/time entry is a plus Knowledge of legal practice management software is helpful, but not required
