This role is ideal for a detail-oriented paralegal who understands the pace and precision required in commercial real estate work. The right candidate will be comfortable managing documents, deadlines, checklists, closing materials, and communications with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and outside parties.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions from due diligence through closing. Prepare, review, and organize transaction documents, closing binders, title documents, surveys, entity documents, and related materials. Coordinate with title companies, lenders, clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams. Review title commitments, exception documents, surveys, UCC searches, lien searches, and other due diligence materials. Maintain closing checklists, track deadlines, and follow up on outstanding items. Assist with drafting and revising closing documents, correspondence, resolutions, certificates, and transaction-related materials. Organize electronic and physical files and ensure all closing documents are complete and properly maintained. Support post-closing matters, including document distribution, recordings, final title policies, and closing binders.
Requirements:
Prior commercial real estate paralegal experience required. Experience with title, survey, due diligence, closings, and transactional document management. Strong understanding of commercial real estate closing processes. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems. Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and keep attorneys informed of transaction status. #IND2

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
