Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry and file management tasks to maintain accurate and organized legal documents
  • Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
  • Utilize document management systems to store, retrieve, and track legal documents
  • Provide clerical support to attorneys and legal staff as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
  • Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
Qualifications:
  • MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR LITIGATION EXPERIENCE
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in data entry and file management
  • Excellent attention to detail for proofreading legal documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a passion for working in the legal field.
