Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development and strategy. Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage case files and document review processes utilizing document management systems like iManage and PCLaw for efficient case tracking. Support project management efforts by organizing deadlines, scheduling meetings, and coordinating client communications across multiple practice areas including landlord-tenant law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, and more. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case activities while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards. Facilitate administrative support tasks such as filing documents electronically or physically, proofreading legal materials, transcribing recordings, and managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette. Assist with client interviews and prepare summaries to aid attorneys in case assessments. Skills Proven experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role within a law office setting. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective interviewing techniques for gathering information from clients or witnesses. Experience with litigation support including document review and case management software. Strong clerical skills such as filing, data entry, proofreading, transcription, and general administrative support. Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
