Job Description:
Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Legal Assistant. This position blends traditional legal assistant responsibilities with executive-level administrative support, including direct assistance to senior leadership. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys, including senior partners Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and assist with scheduling logistics Prepare, edit, and format legal documents with a high level of accuracy Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical) Assist with state and federal e-filing processes Conduct conflict checks and support new matter intake Draft routine correspondence and client communications Coordinate preparation of materials for hearings, depositions, and trials Handle incoming calls and serve as a point of contact for clients Support executive-level tasks for senior leadership, including calendar management and confidential projects
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant with exposure to executive-level support, OR Executive Assistant experience within a legal environment Experience with litigation support, including e-filing at the state and/or federal level Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities High attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced setting Comfortable supporting busy attorneys with minimal oversight
