This role offers an exciting opportunity to support complex legal cases, manage diverse legal documents, and facilitate smooth case workflows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for legal research and case management. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our legal processes while working closely with attorneys and clients to deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence related to commercial litigation, collections, and bankruptcy matters Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies Manage and organize case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date Review and analyze legal documents for relevance, accuracy, and completeness; perform detailed proofreading and transcription as needed Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and tracking case progress across various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, family law, immigration law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and others Facilitate communication with clients through professional phone etiquette; interview clients to gather pertinent information for cases Assist with document review processes such as contracts review or discovery productions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards Skills Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes including filing, data entry, document review, and case management systems Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with iManage or similar document management tools Excellent writing skills for drafting pleadings, memos, summaries, and correspondence Demonstrated experience supporting litigation cases with attention to detail in proofreading and transcription tasks Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with project management principles within a law office setting; ability to coordinate tasks efficiently Knowledge of various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, tribal regulations, patent law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant issues, family law, immigration procedures, UCC law compliance Strong interpersonal skills for interviewing clients and collaborating with attorneys and team members Clerical experience involving filing systems; administrative support including phone etiquette and organizational tasks Join us in delivering exceptional legal support that empowers our firm's success!
