This is a fulltime position in office with an immediate start date. We are seeking candidates with 1+ years experience in a professional setting. Candidates must be dependable, personable, organized, and professional. Dietrich & Kenyon is a twenty-person boutique firm with a focus on bankruptcy, debt and tax resolution practice. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Draft and edit correspondence and other legal documents. Draft bankruptcy filings under the guidance of an attorney Communicate with clients, trustees and creditors Update client information and maintain client database. Anticipate client and attorneys' needs, organize and set up meetings and appointments in a timely fashion, update files and provided daily calendar reminders of all scheduled meetings, court hearings, and appointments. Maintain client files, documents, and records. Prepare client tax returns, as needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Prior experience working with client management programs is preferred. Accounting experience helpful Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal). Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Ability to adapt and work effectively with various levels of legal staff and third parties. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. Compensation will be adjusted based on experience.
