Job Description

A growing and client-focused estate planning practice in the northwest metro is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to support attorneys in delivering comprehensive estate planning and estate administration services. This role involves direct client interaction, document preparation, and support across the full lifecycle of estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.

The practice serves individuals and families across a wide range of asset levels, including high-net-worth clients and closely-held business owners, with an emphasis on thoughtful planning, tax efficiency, and seamless wealth transfer strategies.

Key ResponsibilitiesDraft estate planning documents, including:

Wills, revocable and irrevocable trustsPowers of attorney and health care directivesAncillary transfer and funding documentsAssist with probate and trust administration, including:

Preparing court filings and pleadingsCoordinating asset valuation and distributionCommunicating with personal representatives, trustees, and beneficiariesSupport attorneys in complex estate planning matters, including:

Business succession planningTax-oriented estate planning strategiesAdministration of high-net-worth estatesManage client files from intake through closing, ensuring accuracy and organization of all documentationCoordinate with clients and professional advisors (accountants, financial planners, etc.) to gather information and facilitate planning implementationTrack deadlines and ensure timely filing of probate and court-related documentsMaintain strong client relationships through professional, responsive communication
