Description We are looking for a Paralegal to support legal and compliance operations for a long-term Contract position. This role will handle a steady flow of contract-related work, corporate documentation, and administrative legal requests while partnering closely with internal legal leadership. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the review, routing, and execution of commercial agreements, with a strong focus on keeping documentation accurate and complete.
- Prepare and update corporate records such as board resolutions, including changes involving signing authority and board membership.
- Coordinate entity-related filings and maintain supporting legal documentation in line with corporate requirements.
- Assist with the intake and processing of insurance claims, ensuring timely follow-up and organized recordkeeping.
- Respond to a range of day-to-day legal and compliance requests from internal stakeholders with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Use DocuSign to distribute, track, and finalize legal documents requiring signature.
- Maintain contract files and related records within shared repositories so materials remain accessible and well organized.
- Help prioritize incoming legal matters, monitor deadlines, and keep workstreams moving efficiently across multiple assignments Requirements
- Experience supporting legal teams in a paralegal or comparable legal operations role.
- Hands-on familiarity with commercial contract review and document execution processes.
- Ability to organize competing requests, assess urgency, and manage tasks with strong attention to deadlines.
- Clear and proactive communication skills when working with legal leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Strong administrative and project coordination abilities in a detail-oriented environment.
- Comfort using document management tools and electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign.
- Resourceful approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or a willingness to work with new technology is considered an advantage.
