Job Description

Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal Lakeview Trust & Estate Law, PLLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with drafting estate planning, probate, business succession, and related real estate documents. Previous paralegal or law office experience is not required. Experience in a title company, banking, accounting, real estate, insurance, or other detail-oriented professional environment may be helpful. A four-year degree in business, English, communications, accounting, or a related field is preferred. This is a full-time (35 hours per week), in-office position. Compensation depends upon qualifications and experience. About Our Office Lakeview Trust & Estate Law is a very busy, small, team-oriented law firm. Responsibilities Responsibilities include:
Drafting estate planning, probate, business succession, and real estate documents Preparing deeds, business entity documents, and other supporting legal documents Managing probate matters, including preparing and filing court documents, tracking deadlines, monitoring case progress, and communicating with clients and court personnel Communicating with clients, financial institutions, county offices, and other third parties Maintaining organized client files and records Qualifications The successful applicant will possess: A detail-oriented and organized work style Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Excellent grammar, proofreading, and writing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities The ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy An understanding of and unwavering commitment to confidentiality. This position is ideal for a highly organized individual who enjoys writing, editing, working with detailed information, and learning complex concepts.
