Sand Law, PLLC is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing team in a fast-paced, collaborative, and new downtown Saint Paul office. In this role, you'll be at the center of client interaction—serving as a key point of contact for new clients while communicating with insurance companies, drafting motions, e-filing, municipalities, and other agencies. You'll work closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and fellow team members to open, organize, and manage personal injury cases from the ground up, ensuring every client receives attentive and efficient support. JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for overall case management, organization, and procession - delegate tasks as needed Assist in opening client matters / cases Manage client communication and keeping clients up-to date on their cases Manage communication with insurance adjusters / subrogation analysts Manage medical records and itemized billing statement requests Draft and Submit Demands (ensuring all MR.IB are requested and nothing is missing; ensure all subrogation parties have been put on notice and get current lines; write demand draft or submit to Even-up; send drafts to attorney for review; submit to insurance company) Prepare medical special tables and medical summaries Manage preparation and filing of no-fault arbitration materials throughout the entire no-fault arbitration process Prepare and draft CSLs for attorney review after settlement (confirm final lien amounts; confirm any outstanding balances with medical providers; confirm payment details; etc.) Manage and oversee the drafting of full & final letters and completing the settlement process Manage and oversee attorney calendars and scheduling of statements; depositions; mediations; etc. Manage the preparation and drafting of legal documents (including but not limited to summons & complaints, civil cover sheets, discovery documents, mediation statements, minor settlements; etc.) Manage and oversee the litigation process (i.e. service of documents; scheduling mediation & depositions; obtaining expert opinions; trial preparation; etc.) Manage and oversee proper handling and documenting of file costs and invoices Enter all settlement information onto the Client Settlement Ledger Other tasks and duties as assigned and as needed for the proper and efficient handling of client claims/files
REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong interpersonal skills. An enthusiasm for developing creative solutions to problems. Great at working in a team environment. Experience with high activity of phone calls and emails. 1 -2 years Personal Injury experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, as needed. Lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally. Bend, stoop, reach, and grasp objects as necessary.
