The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for legal research and administrative excellence. This paid position is designed to empower you to develop your legal administrative expertise while contributing meaningfully to our firm's success. Duties Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff across various practice areas, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings. Manage case files and document management systems like CLIO to ensure accurate filing, data entry, and retrieval of legal records. Conduct thorough document review and assist with legal case management tasks to streamline workflow and ensure compliance with deadlines. Perform administrative duties including phone etiquette, data entry, filing, transcription, proofreading, and maintaining organized office records. Qualifications Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within a busy law office environment; familiarity with diverse practice areas is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of case management systems like CLIO is preferred. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in data entry, document management systems, filing procedures, and clerical tasks essential for smooth office operations. Effective communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for interacting confidently with clients and team members. Strong attention to detail for proofreading documents and ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
