  • Hillsboro, MO Wegmann Law Firm, the oldest law firm in Jefferson County (est.
1947), is seeking a reliable and organized Legal Assistant to join our team. We are a busy full-service general practice firm handling Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Family Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Workers' Compensation, Real Estate, and Civil Litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorneys with case management and client communication Draft correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents Organize files, maintain calendars, and schedule appointments Assist with court filings, discovery, and administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal (preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced team in a respected local firm. Competitive pay based on experience.
