Director of Operations Position Summary The Legal Assistant provides administrative and legal support to attorneys and litigation staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Case Management Organize and update electronic and physical case records. Maintain case notes and document activity within the case management system. Legal Document Preparation Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with court requirements. Prepare document packages for filing and service. Court Filings File legal documents with state, federal, and local courts. Administrative Support Manage attorney calendars and appointments. Assist with incoming and outgoing mail processing. Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information. Compliance Follow all firm policies regarding confidentiality and data security. Ensure compliance with applicable court rules and legal procedures. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations affecting legal operations. Qualifications Experience Legal assistant experience preferred. Experience in collections, a plus Knowledge and Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
