You will provide overall support to our attorneys and assist with a variety of legal and administrative tasks. No prior legal experience is necessary, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Support and work closely with staff attorneys, the managing partner, and the senior paralegal to draft and file legal forms, pleadings, and other legal documents (training provided) Draft, prepare, and mail correspondence and cover letters accurately and in a timely manner Monitor case deadlines and assist in ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (training provided) Record, update, and maintain client information in our case management software (training provided) Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and government agencies Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
Familiarity with a professional office environment and office procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply Previous law firm experience is a plus, but not required Experience working with diverse populations is a plus No experience necessary. We will train the right candidate.
