Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support legal operations in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a part-time position suited for someone who can manage schedules, prepare legal documentation, and keep daily administrative tasks organized in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong coordination skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with care.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate attorneys' schedules, meetings, and deadlines to ensure matters move forward efficiently.
  • Prepare, format, and revise legal documents, correspondence, and supporting files with accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain organized records and case-related materials, ensuring documents are accessible and up to date.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external contacts in a clear and organized manner regarding scheduling and administrative needs.
  • Monitor calls, messages, and mobile communications to help prioritize urgent matters and support timely follow-up.
  • Assist with general legal administrative tasks that contribute to smooth day-to-day department operations. Requirements
  • Prior experience in a Legal Assistant or comparable legal administrative support role.
  • Strong ability to manage calendars, appointments, and shifting priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in preparing and editing legal documents with close attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using smartphones and standard office technology for daily communication and coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in an office setting.
