Summary of Responsibilities:
Docket and create templates for USPTO incoming correspondence
Generate application forms and file applications and response documents with USPTO
Create assignment documents for recordation with USPTO
Docket trademark and foreign patent communications
Maintain IP portfolio status spreadsheet for each client
Create and send invoices
Skills/Qualifications:
College degree
REQUIRED
2 years patent law firm work experience
REQUIRED
Paralegal certificate preferred
Understanding of the US patent process
Experience with other types of IP (trademarks, copyrights, etc.) preferred
Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with numbers and dates
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
QuickBooks experience helpful
Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and proactively
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Team player
Positive attitude
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities This position is full-time.
