Workers Compensation Paralegal

Experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our fast‑paced, client‑focused legal team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in North Carolina workers' compensation matters, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high‑volume caseload with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Case management — Maintain and organize files, track deadlines, and manage case calendars. Client communication — Serve as primary point of contact for clients, medical providers, and adjusters. Document preparation — Draft forms, medical record summaries, correspondence, and filings with the NCIC. Medical records handling — Request, review, and summarize medical records and wage information. Attorney support — Assist attorneys with hearing preparation, discovery, and settlement packages. Qualifications Minimum 2-5 years of workers' compensation experience (NC preferred). Strong knowledge of NC Industrial Commission procedures . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a high‑volume environment. Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office.
