If so, this opportunity may be a strong fit for you! Our client, a well-regarded boutique litigation firm, is seeking a highly detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal for their Greensboro office location. We are seeking candidates with experience in Torts, Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, and/or Product Liability involving Personal Injury - Family Law, Bankruptcy or Real Estate background is not a good fit . This role is ideal for a proactive, motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, sophisticated law office environment. They are looking for individuals who are intellectually curious, eager to grow their skills, and committed to making meaningful contributions to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle administrative functions using various billing and case management systems Manage billing processes and attorney time entry Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including discovery , e-discovery , trial , and post-trial activities Prepare & file legal documents in both state and federal courts, including e-filings Assist with all aspects of trial and pretrial preparation Proofread legal briefs and internal documents for accuracy and consistency Draft correspondence, revise document formatting, and coordinate mailings (including certified mail & overnight delivery)
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is required Bachelor's Degree is preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with state and federal court filings Ability to work equally well independently and collaboratively within a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented , excellent organizational & proofreading abilities Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities Excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to play an integral role in litigation matters while gaining exposure to a variety of practice areas.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
