Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits About the Position We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Real Estate Paralegal to join our growing real estate law practice in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience handling residential real estate transactions from contract through closing and will thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and exceptional client service. Responsibilities Manage residential real estate transactions from contract to closing Review title commitments, title searches, and related documents Prepare and coordinate closing packages and settlement documents Communicate with lenders, buyers, sellers, real estate agents, title insurers, and other parties involved in transactions Obtain payoff statements, homeowner association information, surveys, and other required documentation Schedule closings and coordinate all pre-closing requirements Maintain accurate transaction files and closing calendars Assist attorneys with post-closing matters and file management Ensure compliance with North Carolina real estate closing procedures and deadlines Provide professional and responsive service to clients and referral partners Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a real estate paralegal, closing coordinator, or similar role preferred Experience handling North Carolina residential real estate transactions Knowledge of title review, closing procedures, and settlement documentation Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal transaction management software Experience with SoftPro, Qualia, or similar closing software is preferred Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive and professional work environment Opportunity for long-term growth and advancement Stable and growing real estate practice Paid time off and additional benefits available How to Apply Qualified candidates should submit a resume and a brief cover letter outlining their real estate closing experience and familiarity with North Carolina real estate transactions.
