π Raleigh, NC π Full-Time | On-Premises | 37.5 Hours Per Week A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Commercial Bankruptcy and Litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional who enjoys working on sophisticated matters, collaborating closely with attorneys, and playing a critical role in case strategy and execution. What You'll Do Support attorneys handling commercial bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, and complex litigation matters Draft, proofread, and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, correspondence, and court filings Prepare and electronically file documents in federal, state, bankruptcy, and appellate courts using CM/ECF and eCourts systems Manage case calendars, court deadlines, and litigation schedules Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and supporting documentation Coordinate discovery, subpoenas, witness materials, and document production Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation and strategy What We're Looking For 5+ years of paralegal experience Experience supporting commercial bankruptcy, creditors' rights, business litigation, or complex civil litigation matters Strong knowledge of court filing procedures and litigation workflows Familiarity with the Bankruptcy Code, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Strong written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered North Carolina Notary Public certification preferred or willingness to obtain Why Consider This Opportunity?
