We are a close-knit team that takes pride in doing excellent work for our clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to become deeply involved in every stage of the litigation process. You will work directly with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel while gaining broad exposure to case strategy, litigation procedures, and firm operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and enjoys solving new problems every day. Prior civil litigation experience is strongly preferred, but we will provide training on our systems, workflows, and practice-specific procedures. Responsibilities Collect, organize, and manage client documents and digital case files Maintain and update case files in Clio Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents Format, proofread, and finalize legal filings File and serve court documents through state and federal e-filing systems Manage court filings and maintain filing records and file-stamped copies Import, organize, and manage documents within discovery and document-review platforms Create and maintain case templates and workflows Coordinate attorney calendars, hearings, deadlines, and appointments Communicate with clients to obtain information, documents, and witness statements Process outgoing mail and service of process Track client payments and maintain accurate records in firm systems Assist with phone coverage and call screening as needed Occasionally travel to courthouses and government offices in surrounding counties Qualifications Experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant preferred Civil litigation experience strongly preferred Excellent Microsoft Word skills, including advanced document formatting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Highly proficient with technology and able to learn new software quickly Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional, dependable, and client-focused Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Hands-on involvement in active litigation matters Direct access to attorneys and meaningful responsibility A collaborative, supportive team environment Ongoing training and professional development opportunities If you enjoy litigation, technology, problem-solving, and working closely with a team that values initiative and excellence, we would love to hear from you.
