Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of legal matters across multiple practice areas, ensuring efficient case management and comprehensive legal support. Your proactive approach, organizational skills, and legal expertise will contribute significantly to the successful handling of cases, client communication, and legal research. Duties Assist attorneys with case preparation, document review, and legal research across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, and personal injury law. Manage legal case files using document management systems such as iManage and Clio; ensure all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies and legal arguments. Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Perform data entry and administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and managing client communications with professionalism. Review documents for accuracy and completeness; assist in document transcription and proofreading to uphold high-quality standards. Provide exceptional executive administrative support by handling phone etiquette, organizing files, and maintaining efficient office workflows. Experience Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, or personal injury law. Familiarity with legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis; ability to efficiently locate relevant case law and statutes. Experience working with legal case management software like Clio or iManage; adept at document review and management systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy. Demonstrated project management capabilities to coordinate tasks effectively from inception to completion. Exceptional clerical experience including data entry, filing systems, phone etiquette, and administrative support within a law office setting. Knowledge of various practice areas such as landlord-tenant law, litigation procedures, contracts drafting, UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) law principles, Tribal regulations or patent procedures is highly desirable.
