This pivotal role involves supporting attorneys in managing complex litigation cases across various practice areas, including family law, estate planning, environmental law, and more. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research and administrative skills, ensuring efficient case management and seamless workflow. Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools Manage and organize case files utilizing document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and evidence for accuracy and relevance Coordinate discovery processes, including document review and data entry Schedule and prepare for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings Maintain meticulous records of case developments and deadlines to ensure compliance Support project management initiatives by tracking case progress and deadlines Perform administrative duties such as filing, proofreading, transcription, and data entry Provide executive administrative support to attorneys as needed Facilitate effective communication with clients through phone etiquette and professional correspondence Requirements Paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience in a law office setting Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, landlord-tenant law, family law, immigration law, and litigation procedures Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis Experience with case management software including PCLaw and document management systems like iManage Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively Excellent writing skills with keen attention to detail in proofreading and legal drafting Ability to perform thorough legal research and document review accurately Knowledge of legal procedures related to filing, court protocols, and document management systems Effective communication skills demonstrating professionalism in client interactions Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment If you are passionate about supporting litigation efforts through exceptional organizational skills and comprehensive legal knowledge, we encourage you to apply today.
