Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a busy family law practice in Nashua, New Hampshire. This Long-term Contract position offers the opportunity to assist with case coordination, client communication, and preparation of legal materials in an on-site setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, familiarity with family law matters, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome new clients, gather intake information, and help ensure case files are organized from the start of each matter.
  • Prepare, format, and revise family law documents, correspondence, and supporting materials for attorney review.
  • Coordinate court-related submissions by handling electronic filing tasks accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Maintain calendars for hearings, meetings, and case milestones to help keep legal matters on track.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and internal team members regarding scheduling, documentation, and case status updates.
  • Organize and maintain legal records, pleadings, and supporting documents in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Assist with administrative and procedural tasks that support the daily operations of a family law office.
