Job Description

Law Office looking for a full time real estate/litigation paralegal. The candidate will be responsible for drafting and organizing transnational documents and assisting with Closings. Will assist with organizing checklists, including arranging closing documentation and conducting due diligence. Experience preferred but
WILL TRAIN. A
Bachelor's Degree is required.
General Duties:
Coordinate real estate closings; Review agreement of sale; Review Title abstract for clearance of title, notify parties of any problems; Read and understand all closing instructions / lien letters / tax certifications / contracts, notify parties of any problems; Maintain open communication with lender, real estate agents, buyers and sellers during transaction; Address inquiries from lender, real estate agents, vendors, buyers and sellers in a timely manner; Prepare tax certifications and title commitment to send to lender; Coordinate the closing with all parties; Preparation of all closing documents required, including the Deed and all Affidavits; Preparation of the Closing Disclosure or HUD-1 Settlement Statement as required.
General Skills:
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure; Office 365;.

Candidates with the following experience encourage to apply: Systematic, careful, orderly, stable, consistent, poised, reflective, agreeable, responsible The job responsibilities of a real estate paralegal may include: Preparing contracts, including lease or rental agreements and closing documents Facilitating communication between the lawyers for buyer and seller; real estate agents, closing settlement agents, etc. Drafting Contract Riders Reviewing title reports Monitoring financial transactions Preparing documents for eviction proceedings Answering the phone Coordinating paper and electronic files Filing Eviction complaints.
