Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and will support attorneys in various legal matters, particularly in municipal court and superior court, including but not limited to traffic ticket and DWI defense, criminal defense, and family law matters. The Paralegal will play a crucial role in preparing documents, managing case files, and assisting with client communications. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for cases. Manage schedules for court appearances and meetings, ensuring timely communication with all parties involved. Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients and other legal professionals. Support administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and office organization. Experience Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Fluent in English and Spanish is required (and Portuguese is preferred). Excellent organizational skills to effectively gather information from clients, and relay it to the attorneys. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to manage individual tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
