Job Description

We are a well-established law firm in Princeton, New Jersey seeking a full time detail-oriented and highly organized Real Estate Paralegal with a minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting residential and/or commercial real estate transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies and real estate professionals to manage transactions from contract through closing. Experience with title review, due diligence, document preparation and closing coordination is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist attorneys with residential and commercial real estate transactions. Prepare, review and organize contracts, deeds, mortgages, leases, affidavits, settlement statements and other transaction documents. Order and review title commitments, surveys, municipal searches and other due diligence materials. Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, real estate agents and government agencies throughout the transaction process. Prepare and maintain closing checklists and transaction files. Schedule and coordinate closings, including assembling closing packages and post-closing documentation. Review title issues and assist in preparing title objection and curative documents. File and record legal documents with appropriate county and state agencies. Track deadlines, contingencies and critical transaction dates. Maintain accurate records and provide regular status updates to attorneys and clients.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of New Jersey real estate practices and closing procedures. Experience working with title companies and lenders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
