We are an established and reputable law firm seeking a full-time, detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated Legal Assistant/Office Administrator to join our civil defense firm. In this position, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations while assisting attorneys with legal research, document management, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing Correspondence.
  • Filing/Serving pleadings with the court.
  • Submitting proposed Orders to the Judge.
  • Opening and organizing files.
  • Submitting invoices for payment.
  • Support legal case management by entering data accurately, maintaining case files, and ensuring timely document review and updates.
  • Communicating with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Scheduling depositions, mediations, EUOs, arbitrations, and conference calls.
  • General secretarial duties.
  • Organizing deadlines and calendar.
  • Assist with scheduling firm events such as retreat, celebrations, and employee meetings.
  • Assist with office administrative tasks, as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a law firm setting.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
