Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal Usten Law, P.C Forest Hills, NY Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $70,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Spanish Customer communication Personal injury law Russian Legal case management Paralegal experience Full Job Description Usten Law PC is seeking an experienced and highly organized Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing plaintiff-side litigation team in Forest Hills, Queens. We are looking for a motivated professional who can independently manage a personal injury caseload, communicate effectively with clients, and assist attorneys throughout all stages of litigation. Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, discovery responses, and Bills of Particulars Manage litigation calendars, court deadlines, and scheduling Coordinate and schedule depositions, IMEs, court appearances, and client appointments Communicate with clients regarding case status and document collection Review and organize medical records and treatment documentation Prepare and process authorizations, subpoenas, and record requests Assist attorneys with motion practice and litigation preparation Maintain organized electronic and physical case files Follow up with providers, insurance carriers, and defense counsel E-file documents through NYSCEF Qualifications Minimum 3 years of personal injury litigation experience preferred Strong knowledge of New York personal injury practice and procedures Experience drafting litigation documents independently Familiarity with NYSCEF filing system Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Professional and compassionate communication with clients Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software Preferred Skills Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters Familiarity with deposition scheduling and discovery management Strong medical records review and summarization skills Bilingual (Russian or Spanish) is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off Growth opportunities within the firm Supportive and professional work environment Location Forest Hills, Queens, NY To apply, please submit your resume and a brief description of your experience in personal injury litigation.
