Administrative Assistant- Legal Department Lifetimebrands, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for our Legal Dept to join our team in our Garden City, NY office. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday. Position Summary The Legal Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Legal Department and General Counsel. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the discretion required to handle confidential legal and business matters. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare, review, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases, both electronically and in hard copy. Assist with document management, filing, and record retention in accordance with company policies. Prepare, code, and submit invoices for payment and assist with legal department expense tracking. Manage expense reports and coordinate meeting logistics, materials, and related administrative support. Monitor and track legal matters, deadlines, and legal department expenditures. Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and coordinate communications on behalf of the Legal Department. Support corporate and departmental initiatives as needed. Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned by the General Counsel. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of administrative assistant experience; experience supporting a legal department, law firm, or legal professionals preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Education Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
