Pre-Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant - Case Processing

The Yankowitz Law Firm, P.C. , an established and expanding Plaintiff's Personal Injury Firm is seeking a motivated, ambitious, organized and detail oriented Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal for our Long Island office located in Great Neck, NY (on the border of Queens/Nassau County) to support our attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day administrative and legal tasks. This role is critical to keeping cases on track, clients informed, and the office running efficiently. Job Summary This is an exceptional opportunity for candidate experienced in but not limited to: Opening and Processing new cases and inputting data/information into the Firm's case management program (Smart Advocate); Gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents; Conducting initial investigation to determine potentially liable parties (ownership, lessor, lessee, etc.); Setting up claims with Insurance Carriers for motor vehicle cases; Filing no fault applications; Provide administrative support to attorneys; Having direct contact with clients and insurance carriers and medical providers via phone and email.
