Legal Assistant - Medicaid Our boutique Elder Law and Estates firm in Mount Sinai, New York is seeking a Legal Assistant in our Medicaid department to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience handling Medicaid applications and planning matters in an elder law setting. The Legal Assistant should have a minimum of two years of experience in Medicaid processing, eligibility, and/or elder law support, however we are willing to train the right canidate. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys to prepare and manage Medicaid applications, collect and review financial documentation, communicate with clients and government agencies, and track deadlines to ensure cases move efficiently. You will play a key role in guiding clients through a complex and often stressful process with clarity and compassion. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Legal Assistant who wants to be an integral part of a boutique practice that values experience, teamwork, and client service.

Compensation:

$22-$27 per hour, commensurate with experience.

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
