Job Description

We are a large NY based law firm seeking a Specialist to support our Social Security Disability practice in our Newburgh office. This role is highly client-facing and ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates on claims and applications Assist with the preparation and filing of Social Security Disability applications and related paperwork Gather, review, and submit supporting documentation for benefit claims Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner Learn and apply Social Security Administration (SSA) rules, procedures, and guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred Prior law firm experience is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, client-focused approach Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
