Job Description
Litigation Paralegal Personal Injury (Plaintiff-side)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our plaintiff-side personal injury team. The ideal candidate will manage litigation support tasks from intake through trial, including discovery and eDiscovery, drafting pleadings and motions, coordination of subpoenas and witness interviews, trial preparation and exhibit organization, and maintaining strict confidentiality and privilege controls. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with courtroom procedure, document management tools, and legal research platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a personal injury caseload and support attorneys at all litigation stages from intake through trial.
Draft and edit pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.
Handle discovery management: organize document productions, responses, privilege logs, subpoenas, and subpoena compliance.
Perform eDiscovery tasks including document processing, review, tagging, and use of platforms such as Relativity; coordinate with vendors and outside vendors for data collections.
Conduct legal research and factual investigation using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and other resources; prepare research memoranda.
Prepare deposition summaries, exhibit lists, trial binders, and demonstrative exhibits; organize and manage evidence and exhibits for hearings and trials.
Manage court filings and electronic case management (CM/ECF), and perform docket monitoring using PACER and other court systems.
Perform redaction, metadata handling and PDF management using Adobe Acrobat and related tools; review transcripts and audio for accuracy.
Provide litigation support including document review, Bates-stamping, coding, and quality control for productions.
Coordinate witness interviews, maintain contact with clients and vendors, arrange service of process and handle scheduling logistics.
Support timekeeping and billing processes using Time Matters, Clio or similar systems; track expenses and prepare billing data.
Maintain strict confidentiality and privilege protections for client files; implement and monitor privilege logs and secure file handling procedures.
Assist with citation formatting (Bluebook) and proofing legal documents for filing and service.
Train and mentor junior paralegals and administrative staff as needed.
Proven experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and correspondence in civil litigation.
Demonstrated experience with discovery management, subpoenas and subpoenas compliance, deposition summaries, trial preparation and exhibit organization.
Familiarity with eDiscovery workflows and tools (document review, Relativity, production processes).Proficiency with legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat (redaction, PDF management) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Experience with timekeeping and billing software (Time Matters, Clio, or similar).Excellent legal writing, proofreading, citation formatting (Bluebook), and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of confidentiality, privilege management, metadata handling, and evidence management best practices.
Experience with transcription review, document review workflows, litigation support, and coordination with vendors preferred.
Professional, client-focused demeanor and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment.

QualificationsRequired:
Minimum 2 years of litigation paralegal experience, with demonstrable experience in plaintiff-side personal injury matters.Required:
Prior paralegal certification, associate degree in Paralegal Studies, or equivalent legal experience.Proven experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and correspondence in civil litigation.
Demonstrated experience with discovery management, subpoenas and subpoenas compliance, deposition summaries, trial preparation and exhibit organization.
Familiarity with eDiscovery workflows and tools (document review, Relativity, production processes).Proficiency with legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and
PACER/CM/ECF
