Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can support attorneys in all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial preparation to post-trial tasks, as well as non-litigation tasks such as reviewing and preparing documents, client communications, scheduling and organizing documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong understanding of legal processes, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including drafting legal documents, motions, and pleadings. Manage case files and maintain case documentation. Conduct legal research and summarize findings for use in litigation matters. Draft and prepare discovery requests, responses, and deposition summaries. Coordinate the filing of legal documents with courts and other entities. Schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings for attorneys and clients. Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed. Provide general administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a general practice firm. Strong knowledge of Ohio court rules and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills.
