This role offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the litigation process, support a diverse caseload, and work closely with attorneys to provide exceptional legal support on a Transportation team. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment and bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas, and correspondence with accuracy and timeliness File legal documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filings, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures Support attorneys in managing litigation cases from inception to resolution, including expert retention and case calendar management Coordinate the discovery process by drafting/responding to requests, organizing documents, and preparing document productions Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations, supporting litigation matters Assist with trial, hearing, and arbitration preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating with witnesses and experts Maintain and organize both electronic and physical case files for accuracy, completeness, and accessibility Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferred Proficiency in drafting legal documents, legal research, and applying litigation procedures Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential matters Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case/document management software Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, demonstrating initiative and reliability Work Environment Professional, collaborative, and fast-paced office environment Attorneys and paralegals work side-by-side on complex and meaningful litigation matters This position requires regular and predictable in-office attendance; remote or hybrid work is not available This position is not open to recruiters.
