This full-time, in-office role combines legal support and client interaction. You'll assist attorneys with drafting documents, managing calendars, and maintaining files, while also serving as a welcoming first point of contact—answering phones, greeting visitors, and communicating with prospective clients. We're looking for someone who is organized, communicates clearly, and genuinely enjoys helping people. Pay is commensurate with experience Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Welcoming clients and accurately recording phone messages Communicating effectively—both verbally and in writing—with attorneys, staff, and clients Speaking with prospective clients to gather information about their legal needs and help determine whether the firm may be able to assist them Drafting, preparing, and filing legal documents Performing a variety of administrative tasks, such as conducting basic research, organizing and maintaining files, managing mailings, and maintaining office and attorney calendars Making document copies as needed Occasional travel to courthouses to file legal documents Consistently working on-site during regular office hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM Qualifications and Skills of the
Ideal Candidate:
Prefer 1-2 years of experience in a law office Reliable and punctual with the ability to consistently work assigned hours Quick to learn new legal practice management software and tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel Technologically proficient with strong general computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Highly organized and detail-oriented Capable of professionally answering and routing incoming phone calls Experienced in maintaining and coordinating office calendars Skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
