Part-Time, Temporary (2-3 Months) Position Overview PrideStaff is seeking a professional, welcoming, and detail-oriented Legal Assistant for a short-term assignment with a estate planning law office in Bend. You will be the first point of contact for clients navigating important life planning decisions. This role is ideal for someone with excellent administrative skills who thrives in a professional office environment. Key Responsibilities Greet clients warmly as they arrive for appointments and maintain a clean, professional reception area. Answer incoming client calls, answer general inquiries, and accurately route messages or transfer calls to the appropriate team members. Serve as an official witness for the signing of critical legal documents. Support the team with daily administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, managing mail, and data entry. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills with a welcoming, patient, and empathetic phone and in-person presence. Experience handling multi-line phone systems and basic office equipment (copiers, scanners). High level of accuracy when managing paperwork. Strict adherence to maintaining client privacy and handling sensitive personal information with discretion. Ability to work a variable part-time schedule ranging between 20 to 30 hours per week. Previous experience in a legal environment, banking, or escrow/title company is a plus, but not required.
