Real Estate Paralegal | Portland, ME | Hybrid Our client, a well-established and highly respected New England law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its growing team in Portland, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions alongside a collaborative group of attorneys and legal professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting real estate matters from due diligence through closing and post-closing activities and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Support commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing Prepare and manage due diligence materials, closing checklists, and transaction timelines Draft and revise real estate documents, including deeds, affidavits, easements, lender forms, and closing certificates Coordinate recordings with Registries of Deeds and track recording information Assist with title review, title commitments, endorsements, and title-related documentation Organize and assemble closing packages, binders, and post-closing deliverables Coordinate signatures, notarizations, and distribution of executed documents Assist attorneys with lender requirements, payoff requests, and closing logistics Maintain organized transaction files and ensure timely completion of deadlines Qualifications 3+ years of real estate paralegal experience in a law firm, title company, legal department, or related setting Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, title review, due diligence, and closing processes Experience preparing and recording real estate documents Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Why Consider This Opportunity?
