Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including, but not limited to, family law, personal injury, real estate, estate planning, estate administration, and general civil and criminal law. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, and proficiency in legal research and documentation. The paralegal will interface directly with clients, opposing law firms, and the court and support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings while ensuring compliance with legal standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using resources such as LexisNexis to support case preparation. Assist in drafting legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions. Manage case files and maintain organized document management systems. Review and proofread documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Provide executive administrative support to attorneys, including filing, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars. Assist in litigation processes by preparing exhibits, evidence, and trial binders. Collaborate with attorneys on project management tasks related to ongoing cases. Job Type Full Time (Onsite) Skills Strong understanding of family law, personal injury, real estate, estate planning, estate administration, general civil and criminal law. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence. Strong research abilities for effective legal analysis. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Familiarity with document management. Professional phone etiquette for communication with clients, opposing law firms and the court. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
